In public transit, disruptions can occur - a bus breaking down, a traffic accident or a sudden call-off, so who keeps the buses rolling? Meet the dispatcher. At rabbittransit, we're on a mission to deliver our community safe and seamless rides, and our dispatchers help to make this possible. Overseeing operators' shifts, assigning drivers to cover schedules as needed, coordinating with maintenance to assign vehicles, using radios and Intelligent Transportation Systems to communicate in real-time with drivers, resolving service issues including passenger requests and incidents, vehicle breakdowns and accidents, emergencies, and route-deviations are all part of the dispatcher's important duties.

Through effective communication with drivers and adept management of online customer trips, you can bridge the gap between people and the places they once thought were out of reach. Ready to be a driving force behind an essential community service? Apply today.
