WGAL’s Bethany Miller to Emcee the Manufacturers’ Association’s 119th Annual Event
Event Featuring Baseball’s Billy Beane
York, PA – The Manufacturers’ Association is excited to announce that Bethany Miller, Sports Director at WGAL News 8 (NBC), will serve as emcee for the Association’s 119th Annual Event, to be held on May 20th at York College of Pennsylvania.
Bethany Miller brings energy, insight, and a passion for storytelling that have made her a standout journalist in south-central Pennsylvania. As Sports Director for WGAL, she covers everything from high school rivalries to major national sports stories and is known for her dynamic presence on camera and in the community.
119th Annual Event
Bethany will help guide the evening’s program, which features an exclusive keynote address by Billy Beane, the legendary baseball executive and subject of the bestselling book and hit film Moneyball. Beane’s innovative use of data analytics to transform the Oakland A’s into a competitive franchise on a shoestring budget has made him a pioneer not only in sports but in business strategy and leadership.
