SEK Member Krista Gardner Named to America’s Top 200 CPAs for 2025 by Forbes

Krista Gardner, CPA, Member of the Firm at SEK, CPAs & Advisors, has been named to Forbes’ 2025 America’s Top 200 CPAs list.

 

Created by Forbes’ editorial staff, the America’s Top 200 CPAs list honors the most accomplished CPAs in public practice across the nation. Candidates were identified through independent nominations and accolades from CPA societies and associations nationwide, then evaluated on a range of weighted criteria – including expertise, innovation, thought leadership, professional experience, community service, and responses to selected questions.

 

Krista joined SEK in 2020 as a Member of the Firm. She specializes in helping nonprofit and governmental organizations strengthen their financial governance, business strategy, and operational efficiency. With more than 16 years of experience serving mission-driven entities, Krista combines deep industry knowledge with a forward-thinking approach that anticipates future trends and client needs. Known for her collaborative, service-oriented style, Krista is dedicated to helping organizations achieve their missions and make a lasting impact in their communities.

 

Krista is an active member and volunteer within the profession, serving with the American Institute of CPAs, the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PICPA), and the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials. She has been recognized for her leadership and dedication, receiving the Young Leader Award from the PICPA and being named a Forty Under 40 honoree by the Central Penn Business Journal.

 

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Krista is committed to her community. She serves as Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair of The York JCC; Board Member, Executive Committee Member, and Finance Committee Member of the Byrnes Health Education Center; and holds various leadership roles with the Appell Center for the Performing Arts, Susquehanna University, and Special Olympics York County.
