Barley Snyder Attorneys Named to 2025 Top Lawyers of Chester County List by Daily Local News
Lancaster, Pa. – Four Barley Snyder attorneys - Salvatore Anastasi, Zachary J. Daly, Michael W. Davis and Derek P. Dissinger - have been named to the 2025 Top Lawyers of Chester County List by the Daily Local News in three categories. Additionally, Barley Snyder was recognized in the Real Estate category.

Salvatore Anastasi – Intellectual Property
Anastasi is a registered patent attorney and chair of Barley Snyder’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. With nearly 30 years of experience, he advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property, including domestic and international patent preparation and prosecution and intellectual property litigation. Anastasi currently serves as President-Elect of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, one of the world’s largest and most influential IP organizations.
Zachary J. Daly – Intellectual Property
Daly is a registered patent attorney in Barley Snyder’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, advising clients on patents, copyrights and trademarks. He supports IP litigation and enforcement while helping clients develop strong IP portfolios across industries like mechanical, electrical and medical technologies. With a background in physics, Daly works with companies of all sizes to align IP strategies with their business goals.
Michael W. Davis – Municipal Court
Davis chairs Barley Snyder’s Environment & Energy Industry Group with over 30 years of experience advising public and private clients on environmental, real estate, agribusiness and municipal law matters. He has led high-profile redevelopment projects involving environmental compliance, Brownfield remediation and land use across Pennsylvania. Davis also serves as solicitor to local government entities and regularly counsels colleges, developers and businesses on zoning, permitting and regulatory issues.
Derek P. Dissinger – Real Estate
Dissinger chairs Barley Snyder’s Real Estate and Hospitality groups, advising clients in Pennsylvania and Maryland on real estate transactions, sophisticated land development and zoning matters. He represents developers, lenders and hospitality businesses in areas such as 1031 and reverse 1031 exchanges, hotel and restaurant deals, and liquor licensing. As both an attorney and licensed title agent, Dissinger offers comprehensive, strategic counsel across all phases of real estate and finance transactions.
