Hanover Country Club Pool Season Off to a Splashing Start After Grand Opening

Hanover, PA – May 2025 – The summer season is off to a vibrant start at Hanover Country Club with the highly anticipated grand opening of its newly renovated pool on Friday, May 23rd. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by representatives from the Hanover and New Oxford Chambers of Commerce and Hanover Mayor SueAnn Whitman, marked the culmination of a multi-phase improvement project focused on enhancing the member experience.

That evening, the Club hosted its first Poolside Pub Night to celebrate the occasion. Members gathered to enjoy speciality drinks, music, and poolside fun, marking the start of what promises to be an exciting and refreshing summer season at the Club.

The upgraded pool complex offers a resort-style atmosphere right in the heart of South Central Pennsylvania. New amenities include a heated swimming pool, a kid-friendly interactive splash pad, modernized lounge areas, and expanded poolside service—all designed to elevate the Club’s family-friendly and leisure offerings.

“This project has been a long time in the making,” said W. Chris Hodson, CCM, General Manager of Hanover Country Club. “Our team worked hard to reimagine what the pool experience could be—not only as a summer amenity but as a social hub for families and members of all ages. We’re confident this investment adds long-term value to the Club and will appeal to future generations of members.”

The renovation is part of Hanover Country Club’s broader vision to provide world-class amenities while preserving the charm and tradition that have defined the Club for more than a century. With social memberships starting at just $79/month, there has never been a better time to join the Hanover Country Club community.
