BOROUGH COUNCIL ACTIONS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS:
CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION: President Reichart presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Vicki Jacobs for her 26 years served on the Hanover Borough Civil Service Commission.
VEHICLE SPEED DETECTION EQUIPMENT: VFW Post 2506 presented a check for $3,000 to the Hanover Borough Police Department for an Electronic Speed Detection Sign.
119 / 121 ALLEGHENY AVENUE: Approval was granted for Resolution No. 1442 for Preliminary / Final Subdivision Plan Approval.
RIGHT OF WAY AGREEMENT: Approval was granted for Right of Way to install a fire hydrant at 646 Blooming Grove Road.
TRANSFER STATION HAULING CONTRACT: Approval was granted to authorize the advertisement for bids.
PHASE II: PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY PROJECT (44 FREDERICK STREET): Approval was granted authorizing the Notice of Intent to Award and Notice to Proceed for the 44 Frederick Street Public Safety Facility renovation project, as part of the overall Hanover Borough Public Administration and Public Safety Complex project, to the low bidder, eciConstruction, in the amount of $10,131,098, subject to Solicitor review of all contract related documents. .
