Malvern, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Alice Solomon has joined the firm in its Malvern office, further strengthening its presence in the Chester County region. She is the newest member of Barley Snyder’s Real Estate and Litigation practice groups, bringing a strong background in environmental, energy and land use law.
Solomon represents clients in environmental litigation, regulatory compliance and transactional matters, with experience advising on infrastructure projects such as natural gas pipelines, railways and wastewater treatment plants, as well as remediation of former industrial sites. Her litigation work includes cases involving the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the New Jersey Spill Act, the Pennsylvania Clean Streams Law, PFAS, constitutional claims and common law tort claims. In addition, Solomon counsels clients on regulatory issues, including pesticide and wastewater regulations, property title matters and brownfield redevelopment tax credits.
"I am pleased to join Barley Snyder, a well-respected firm with a longstanding reputation of excellent client service and community involvement,” said Solomon. “I look forward to working closely with clients to efficiently address their unique legal needs while continuing to hone my skills in environmental law and litigation as a member of the firm's Real Estate and Litigation practice groups."
Before joining Barley Snyder, Solomon worked at an environmental law firm based in the Philadelphia suburbs. She received her Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law with a concentration in Litigation and Dispute Resolution and her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Davidson College, graduating cum laude from both institutions. Solomon is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Outside of the firm, the Delaware County native serves as a Programming Committee Member for the Delaware Valley Environmental American Inn of Court.
“We are delighted to welcome Alice to the firm,” said Michael W.
