Jessica Elder, CB, Outsourced Accounting Associate at Brown Plus, has recently graduated from the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Hanover program.
Leadership Hanover is a six-month leadership program focused on developing connections in the Hanover, Pennsylvania, community. The program aims to help make leaders more successful by increasing area knowledge and building key relationships within the Hanover region.
“Participating in the Leadership Hanover program alongside fellow dedicated professionals in the community was an incredibly rewarding experience,” said Jess. “I am excited to apply the insights and knowledge I’ve gained to better serve my clients and support my team members in Hanover.”
As an Outsourced Accounting Associate with more than four years of experience, Jess provides Brown Plus clients with payroll and bookkeeping services. She is a Certified Bookkeeper (CB) with the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB).
“We are immensely proud of Jess’ dedication to the Hanover region, as demonstrated by her participation in the Leadership Hanover program,” said Ken Wolfe, President and Managing Principal at Brown Plus. “The Hanover community will benefit greatly from the contributions and leadership we will undoubtedly see from Jess and her fellow graduates in the future.”
In addition to her client service role within Brown Plus, Jess serves as a member of the Brown Plus Emerging Professionals (BEP) Group Steering Committee, which plans monthly events related to professional development, networking and community service for the Firm’s young professionals. She is also an avid community supporter, serving as Treasurer of the New Oxford Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of York and Adams Counties.
