Dancin’ with Brittanie Brings a New Line Dance Studio to Downtown Hanover

Grand Opening Week Set for November 9–14, 2026, Featuring Free Classes, Open Dancing, Giveaways, and More

Hanover, PA – Main Street Hanover is excited to welcome Dancin’ with Brittanie, LLC, a dedicated line dance studio bringing music, movement, and community connection to downtown Hanover. Owned and operated by Brittanie Silk, the new studio will celebrate its grand opening November 9–14, 2026, with a week of special events, dance lessons, open dancing, and opportunities for the community to experience the space.
Located at 28 Baltimore Street, Suite 3, Dancin’ with Brittanie offers a welcoming environment for dancers of all ages and experience levels. The studio will host line dance classes, open dances, workshops, private lessons, and private events, featuring a variety of musical genres. The space will also house The Boot & Timber Western Co., the business’s western retail shop.
Main Street Hanover Marketing & Administrative Coordinator Alex Brown recently sat down with Silk to learn more about her journey, the inspiration behind the business, and what visitors can expect during opening week.
Silk’s love for line dancing began approximately 10 years ago when friends invited her to attend a class. What started as a new hobby quickly became something much more meaningful.
“I found dancing at a low point in my life, but I lacked confidence, so it really helped,” Silk shared. “It’s a super tight-knit community where everyone helps each other, and we all get to thrive together.”
After experiencing firsthand how dancing could provide an outlet, build confidence, and create lasting friendships, Silk began teaching classes and hosting events. Her business grew from a passion for helping others discover that same sense of belonging.
“Dancing is so much more than just moving your feet, it’s about connection, joy, and creating memories that last a lifetime,” Silk explained. “Every time I saw someone light up on the dance floor, I knew I was doing what I was meant to do.”
The opportunity to open a dedicated studio in downtown Hanover came together unexpectedly. Silk and her husband discovered the property online just six days before their wedding and quickly knew they had found the right space.
Now, she is looking forward to welcoming new faces and introducing more people to the world of line dancing. Beyond traditional lessons, Dancin’ with Brittanie plans to offer themed events, including couples’ nights, kids’ nights, singles mixers, and glow parties.
“Honestly, we’re super excited to see new faces. I want to bring new people into something that can truly be life-changing,” Silk said. “A lot of the time, people come here at a low, looking for something to brighten their spirits. We hope to be that for the people of the Hanover community.”
Grand Opening Week Schedule
The community is invited to celebrate throughout the week with special activities for beginners, experienced dancers, families, and anyone curious about trying something new.

Whether visitors are seasoned dancers or have never tried a line dance before, Silk hopes everyone will feel welcome on the dance floor.
“I always say, ‘Welcome to your new addiction,’” she said.
