Christmas Committee Hosts “Jingle & Mingle” Open House to Welcome New Volunteers

Hanover, PA — The Christmas Committee of Main Street Hanover invites community members to attend a festive “Jingle & Mingle” Open House on Wednesday, May 6 at 6:00 PM at the Borough of Hanover Administrative Building, Community Room (33 Frederick St, Hanover, PA 17331). Light refreshments will be provided.
This open house offers an opportunity for residents to learn more about the Christmas Committee and how they can get involved in creating Hanover’s beloved holiday traditions. Attendees will have the chance to meet current volunteers, ask questions, and discover ways to contribute their time and talents.
The Christmas Committee is a dedicated group of volunteers who work year-round to plan and bring to life many of Hanover’s most cherished seasonal events and attractions. These include the annual Christmas Parade, Santa’s arrival, and festive downtown decorations that bring holiday cheer to the community.
“We’re excited to welcome new faces and ideas,” said a committee chair, Justine Trucksess, “Whether you enjoy planning events, decorating, organizing, or promoting, there’s a place for everyone to get involved and help make the season special for our community.”
The committee meets monthly on the first Wednesday at 6:00 PM in downtown Hanover, with increased activity during the busy holiday season from October through December. Volunteers are encouraged to participate at a level that fits their schedule.
