HANOVER, PA — Hanover’s Department of Parks & Recreation is warming up winter with a full slate of fun, hands-on workshops and programs.
Kick Up Your Heels
Starting January 8 through February 26, join instructor Becky Kishter for Country Line Dancing (6–7 p.m.) and Beginner Clogging (7–8 p.m.) every Thursday. Each eight-week course is $160. (Country Line Dancing and Beginner Clogging are charged separately.) Classes meet at the Public Administration Building, 33 Frederick Street. Get Crafty for Valentine’s Day

Taste the Flavors of Asia
Learn delicious techniques from Moon Kuhn of Moon’s Café at the Hanover Market House on Tuesday, February 10, 6–7:30 p.m. in the CommunityAid Community Kitchen. The cost is $30. DIY Mod Podge Coasters
Join Michelle Black of M&S Designs on Tuesday, February 24, 6:30–8:30 p.m. for a workshop on simple techniques for designing, sealing, and decorating coasters that are both unique and functional. Philadelphia Flower Show Bus Trip
Flower enthusiasts won’t want to miss the trip on Monday, March 2 to the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia for the annual Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Philadelphia Flower Show. The cost is $95. The bus leaves the Hanover Market House Parking lot (210 East Chestnut Street) at 8:45 a.m. and will return by 7:30 p.m. Reserve tickets by emailing ParksAndRecDepartment@HanoverBoroughPA.gov. Seniors in Action Lunch & Learn
