Barley Snyder Welcomes Real Estate Attorney Sophie Miller to Harrisburg Office
Harrisburg, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Sophie C. Miller has joined the firm as an associate in its Real Estate Practice Group. Miller will be based in the firm’s Harrisburg office.
Miller assists clients with a range of commercial and residential real estate matters, including leasing, acquisitions and sales, easements, title review, land use and zoning, closings, and condominium and planned community development. Her experience also includes landlord-tenant matters, boundary disputes and other real estate litigation matters.
“Sophie brings experience across several areas of real estate law, along with a practical understanding of the title and settlement process,” said Reilly S. Noetzel, partner and chair of Barley Snyder’s Real Estate Practice Group. “Her background will complement the capabilities of our team, and we’re pleased to welcome her to the firm and our Harrisburg office.”
Before joining Barley Snyder, Miller practiced real estate law at a mid-size law firm serving the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to law school, she worked for a settlement services company, assisting with real estate closings and settlement preparation. She is a licensed title agent and certified notary public.
“I’m excited to join Barley Snyder and be part of a collaborative Real Estate Practice Group with a strong presence throughout Pennsylvania and beyond,” said Miller. “Growing up in the Camp Hill area, it’s especially meaningful to continue my career in the Harrisburg region while helping clients navigate their real estate needs.”
Miller earned her J.D., cum laude, from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and her B.S. in Economics and Finance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. While in law school, she served as a legal extern with the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office of General Counsel and as a summer associate with a York-based law firm.
