Barley Snyder Partner Justin Tomevi Elected President of York County Bar Association

York, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that partner Justin A. Tomevi has been elected President of the York County Bar Association (YCBA). Tomevi officially began his term on January 1, 2026, following his service as President-Elect.

Founded in 1881, the YCBA is a nonprofit professional association of more than 500 attorneys, judges and legal professionals dedicated to advancing the legal profession and serving the public in York County. The organization provides continuing legal education, networking and professional development opportunities, and access to valuable legal resources. Through community outreach, advocacy and programming, the YCBA promotes justice, supports the courts and upholds the highest ethical standards. Its charitable arm, the York County Bar Foundation, further supports access to justice by funding pro bono legal services and law-related educational initiatives.

“I’m honored to serve as President of the York County Bar Association,” Tomevi said. “Having worked closely with dedicated members of this organization over the years, I have seen firsthand the positive impact the YCBA has on our profession and in the community. I look forward to building on that work – strengthening resources, encouraging collaboration, and continuing to support access to justice in York County.”

Tomevi’s election reflects his long-standing involvement with the YCBA. He has served on the board of the YCBA and/or its subsidiary boards for a decade, including leadership roles with the association’s legal publication, The York Legal Record.

Tomevi is partner in Barley Snyder’s Litigation Practice Group, where he assists businesses, institutions and individuals in identifying and managing litigation risk. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation, real estate litigation, fiduciary litigation and banking litigation, representing clients in both state and federal courts in Pennsylvania, Maryland and the District of Columbia. His legal acumen and community involvement have earned him recognition from the Million and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, The Best Lawyers in America®, Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, Thomson Reuters Stand-out Lawyers and the Central Penn Business Journal.

In addition to his leadership within the YCBA, Tomevi serves as a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s House of Delegates, is General Counsel and Secretary for the YMCA of the Roses, and is an adjunct faculty member at both Messiah University and Eastern University.
