Barley Snyder Names Partners Lindsey Cook and Paul Minnich Co-Chairs of Alternative Dispute Resolution Service Team

Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that partners Lindsey M. Cook and Paul W. Minnich have been named co-chairs of the firm’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Service Team.

The ADR Service Team provides a comprehensive range of dispute resolution services, including mediation and arbitration, offering clients efficient, cost-effective alternatives to traditional litigation.

“Lindsey and Paul bring exceptional experience and a deep understanding of dispute resolution to their new roles,” said managing partner Jennifer Craighead Carey. “Their collaborative leadership will be invaluable as we continue to expand our ADR services and provide our clients with innovative solutions for resolving complex matters.”

Cook and Minnich succeed The Honorable Stephen P. Linebaugh, who successfully led the ADR Service Team since its inception. Linebaugh retired from Barley Snyder in March 2025 after a distinguished tenure.

Cook is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, focusing on a variety of litigation matters, including commercial, real estate, fiduciary and intellectual property litigation. Her ability to navigate complex legal challenges and commitment to practical solutions make her an ideal fit for this leadership role. In 2021, the American Arbitration Association (AAA) recognized her extensive commercial litigation experience and admitted her to its panel of arbitrators. This panel comprises a select group of legal professionals, including former federal and state judges, endorsed by the AAA to deliver alternative dispute resolution services nationwide.

Minnich, also a partner in the Litigation Practice Group, brings an exceptional breadth and depth of legal experience. He has built a formidable reputation in complex commercial, real estate, and fiduciary litigation. His extensive trial practice spans both state and federal courts across Pennsylvania and Maryland, equipping him with a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape. In addition, he has significant experience helping businesses resolve conflicts outside the courtroom through ADR methods. Minnich is poised to join the York County Judiciary, having recently secured a primary victory and entering the fall election unopposed.

“I am honored to co-chair the ADR team with Paul,” said Cook. “Alternative dispute resolution is a critical tool for businesses and individuals seeking efficient and cost-effective ways to resolve conflicts. We are committed to enhancing Barley Snyder’s reputation for excellence in this area.”

Minnich added, “I look forward to working alongside Lindsey to further develop our ADR capabilities. Our team is dedicated to helping clients achieve favorable resolutions outside of court, and we are excited to continue providing exceptional service.”
