Barley Snyder Managing Partner Jennifer Craighead Carey Named to CPBJ Power 100 List
Barley Snyder managing partner and CEO Jennifer Craighead Carey has been named to the Central Penn Business Journal’s (CPBJ) 2025 Power 100 List.
The Power 100 List, compiled annually by the CPBJ editorial team, honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional influence across various sectors, including law, finance, education, government, healthcare, business and nonprofits. They are the key influencers shaping the growth and success of our communities throughout Central Pennsylvania, both in visible leadership positions and through behind-the-scenes contributions.

Craighead Carey is a member of Barley Snyder’s Employment Practice Group and chairs the firm’s Crisis Management Service Team. She focuses her practice on management side labor and employment law, assisting a diverse range of clients. As managing partner, Craighead Carey leads the firm’s operations, overseeing strategic direction, efficiency and growth. She has been with Barley Snyder for more than 30 years and was elected as the firm’s first female managing partner in 2024.
A passionate advocate for community empowerment, Craighead Carey is deeply engaged in numerous initiatives across Lancaster County. She currently serves on the board of the Lancaster City Alliance and is also a member of the Millersville University College of Arts and Social Sciences Advisory Board, among other roles.
