Barley Snyder Attorney Martin Siegel Reappointed to PA Department of Environmental Protection’s Sewage Advisory Committee for Third Consecutive Term
York, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that Martin R. Siegel has been reappointed to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s (PA DEP) Sewage Advisory Committee for a third consecutive term.
The Sewage Advisory Committee is composed of members appointed by organizations with a vested interest in sewage management and environmental health. These members are responsible for reviewing and providing input on proposed and existing rules, regulations, standards, and procedures related to sewage planning and permitting. Siegel continues to serve on the Committee as a representative of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
“I’m honored to continue my service on the Sewage Advisory Committee and contribute to the betterment of Pennsylvania’s sewage disposal and water quality,” said Siegel. “I look forward to collaborating with a dedicated and knowledgeable group of professionals.”
Siegel is a member of Barley Snyder’s Real Estate and Environment & Energy groups. He works with businesses to navigate environmental and energy challenges in real estate transactions, development projects, PFAS-related issues, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining the firm, he spent more than two decades as a litigator at the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection.
Additionally, Siegel is a trained mediator, a frequent speaker on environmental topics, and an author of numerous legal publications. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® in its 2024 and 2025 editions for his work in environmental law. In addition to his committee role, Siegel is a member of the York County Community Foundation’s Codorus Watershed Endowment Fund Advisory Committee and serves as a mentor with iMentor Baltimore.
