Barley Snyder Attorney Julia Parrish Elected to York County Community Foundation Board of Directors
York, PA – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Julia M. Parrish has been elected to the Board of Directors of the York County Community Foundation (YCCF).
Founded in 1961, the YCCF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the York community by connecting donors, nonprofits and leaders to address local needs. YCCF works with individuals and families to ensure charitable goals are fulfilled in perpetuity while supporting initiatives that advance the county’s economic, educational, and social well-being.
“As a lifetime York County resident, I have long been aware of the leadership role the York County Community Foundation plays in strengthening our community, particularly through its work with nonprofit organizations,” said Parrish. “YCCF’s focus on helping families ensure their charitable wishes are honored in perpetuity closely aligns with my work in estate planning, and I am honored to support that mission as a board member.”
Parrish is a member of Barley Snyder’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group and brings more than 20 years of experience in estate planning and trust and estate administration. She partners closely with clients to develop thoughtful, well-structured plans and guide them through complex matters with practical, creative solutions and a collaborative approach.
In addition to her role with YCCF, Parrish is actively involved in the community and the legal profession. She serves as a Legislative Review Committee Member for the Pennsylvania Bar Association Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section, and as a Board Member and Chair of the Family Services Committee for York Habitat for Humanity.
