Barley Snyder Attorney Julia Parrish Appointed to York Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors
York, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Julia M. Parrish has been appointed to the Board of Directors of York Habitat for Humanity, where she will also serve as Chair of its Family Services Committee.
York Habitat for Humanity, (YHFH), part of Habitat for Humanity International, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter in the York community. Through volunteerism, affordable home construction and homeownership programs, the organization works to create safe and sustainable housing solutions for local families. Parrish has been actively involved with the organization, previously serving as a member of its Philanthropy Committee.
“Access to safe, affordable housing can be truly life-changing for families. I look forward to contributing to York Habitat for Humanity’s mission and advancing its impactful work in the community,” said Parrish.
Parrish is a member of Barley Snyder’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group and has more than 20 years of experience in estate planning and trust and estate administration. She partners closely with clients to develop thoughtful, well-structured plans and guides them through complex matters with practical, creative solutions and a collaborative approach.
A York County native, Parrish is actively involved in the community. She serves as a Board Member for the York County Community Foundation and a Legislative Review Committee Member for the Pennsylvania Bar Association Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section, in addition to other roles with various organizations.
