Barley Snyder Attorney Jonah Markle Elected to Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania Board of Directors
Reading, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Jonah P. Markle has been elected to the board of directors of Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania.
For more than a century, Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania has provided essential programs and services to individuals with developmental delays, disabilities and other special needs. As one of 70 affiliates of the broader Easterseals National Network, the nonprofit organization delivers community-based programs and support designed to promote independence, inclusion and lifelong success for children, adults and their families. Markle’s election to the board reflects his commitment to community service and advocacy for individuals with disabilities.
“I’ve been able to see firsthand how Easterseals Eastern Pennsylvania supports children with disabilities and the families who care for them,” said Markle. “That experience has deepened my appreciation for the organization’s mission and the meaningful support it provides. I am honored to join the board and look forward to helping advance its mission and expand access to services that empower children with disabilities to thrive.”
Markle is a member of Barley Snyder’s Trusts & Estates, Finance & Creditors’ Rights and Business practice groups. His practice focuses on estate planning and related matters, where he prioritizes building strong relationships with clients and gaining a clear understanding of their long‑term goals. His approach to client service emphasizes thoughtful planning and sensitivity to the needs of individuals and families facing complex circumstances. He joined the firm after previously serving as a summer associate.
Prior to joining Barley Snyder, Markle served as a Certified Legal Intern in the University of Pittsburgh School of Law’s Elder Law Clinic and Low‑Income Taxpayer Clinic. In those roles, he represented clients in guardianship proceedings, assisted with testamentary documents and provided pro bono legal support to individuals with matters before the United States Tax Court. Markle is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and Duquesne University.
