Barley Snyder Attorney Hyo Jin Lee Joins Helping Harvest Board of Directors
Reading, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney Hyo Jin (Jinnie) Lee has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of Helping Harvest Fresh Food Bank, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger in Berks and Schuylkill counties. The organization is a member of Feeding America and has been deemed a Four-Star Charity.
Helping Harvest sources food through partnerships with Feeding America, government agencies, local retailers, food manufacturers and farms in addition to receiving local donations. Food is delivered to its 51,000-square-foot warehouse facility where it is stored, packed and distributed to more than 350 programs, which in turn, feed more than 110,000 people in need each year.
“I am honored to join the Board of Directors of Helping Harvest and support an organization that makes such a meaningful impact in our community,” said Lee. “Access to nutritious food is a fundamental need, and I look forward to working alongside fellow board members and volunteers to help expand Helping Harvest’s reach and strengthen the resources available to the families it serves.”
Lee, an associate at Barley Snyder, is a member of the firm’s Food & Agribusiness Industry Group, where she works with businesses across the food supply chain on a range of regulatory, operational and workforce-related matters. She is also a member of the firm’s International Business & Trade Group, advising on cross-border transactions and global business considerations. In addition, she handles immigration and employment law matters, helping clients navigate complex labor and compliance issues. With a global perspective and fluency in English, Japanese and Korean, Lee brings a unique and thoughtful approach to serving clients and the broader community.
