You?re Invited! Reception to Celebrate New Mural at Cherry Tree Pediatric Therapy
You’re invited to a special reception celebrating the completion of the new mural at Cherry Tree Pediatric Therapy, which will take place on Friday, August 24, from Noon -2 p.m.
The artist, Marion Stephenson, will be on hand to share her inspiration for the mural. Tours and light refreshments will be available.
Stephenson’s detailed, hand-painted floor-to-ceiling murals have made the entrance to Cherry Tree Pediatric Therapy come alive. Children and their families arriving for their therapy appointments now enjoy finding countless images such as animals, trains, rainbows and more, creatively painted onto the walls and staircase in colorful and fun storybook fashion.
The staff reports that the kids and their parents continue to notice “new” items every time they come in. According to Kevin Maloney, Director, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, what started as a signage update project has turned into a beautiful and inviting place that welcomes patients and visitors.
Hanover Hospital Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Cherry Tree Pediatric Therapy, offers specialty therapy services designed for children struggling with developmental, neurological and orthopedic issues. Many of the therapists have earned specialized certifications in their areas of expertise.
