Silent Book Club
Little Fox is honored to be an official chapter of Silent Book Club. Every second Thursday, bring your own book or buy a new one and let's read together! Silent Book Club is a global community of readers, with more than 500 chapters in 50 countries around the world led by local volunteers. SBC members gather together to read in quiet(ish!) camaraderie. There's no assigned reading or discussion guides—that's the "silent" part of our book club—but we do like to share book recommendations and meet like-minded readers. All readers are welcome, including e-readers! You can find out more info at silentbook.club Here's what to expect: Take the first half hour to order your drinks, grab a good seat, and check in with your friends. At 6:30 pm one of us will announce that the silent reading has begun and we'll throw on some jazz and read silently for an hour. At the 7:30 pm, we'll announce that the hour is up and if you want to continue reading you can, or like a traditional bookclub, you can chat with those around you about the book you're reading (and hopefully get a great book recommendation and make a new friend!) This is free to attend, please RSVP -- this event fills up fast and we only have 30 seats. All ages are welcome!
