Learn how to grow and care for small fruits such as strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and more. We will discuss bareroot plants vs. potted plants, and how to be successful growing both. It is vital to test your soil prior to planting and adjust as needed. We will discuss how to test your soil and how to make adjustments to achieve the optimum soil conditions. Additional topics for discussion include pruning, fertilizing, and pollination. You will receive: - Soil Test Kit - This is a hands-on project – plant 3 bare-root strawberries in a fiber grow bag to take home. Tickets: $15 *Space is limited to 16 participants.
