Halloween in the Park
"HALLOWEEN IN THE PARK" is a family friendly, public event sponsored by the Friends of Codorus State Park a non-profit organization, with trick or treating, hayrides and more. Campers decorate their campsites (last year around 80 participated) and pass out candy between 6 pm and 9 pm. Anytime between 6 pm and 10 pm, you can go for festive hayride decorated by local businesses, and volunteers, featuring Codorus's very own lake monster, Leroy! Food vendors, chainsaw artist, blacksmith demonstrations, and much more will be ongoing at that time as well. A $10 donation is requested to help cover event expenses. This is a great night out for the family! It's helpful to bring flashlights. The main entrance is on Rt. 216 at the "Oarhouse" sign. If you would like to camp during that weekend, call 717-451-3635 for reservation details. Visit us at www.halloweeninthepark.org.
