Dementia Practitioner Certification Course Offered at Cross Keys
CROSS KEYS/NEW OXFORD, Pa. – Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community is pleased to offer the class required to obtain certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) to the public.
The cost to attend is $185 and will be held on Tuesday, March 12 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Encore Room of Harmony Ridge. Registration is limited to 20 individuals and required by March 1. Please call Kim Korge at 717-624-5272 to sign up.
The education will equip participants with a set of tools with which they can support loved ones or members of the greater community who are living with dementia. Spend time with our Dementia Champions Jennifer Holcomb and Kim Korge to gain a deeper understanding of what dementia is, what it’s like to live with the disease, and hear some tips for communicating with people living with dementia.
Harmony Ridge Community Center is best accessed via the Village Drive entrances from U.S. 30 or PA 94. Harmony Drive, which leads to the community center parking lot, intersects with Village Drive from the west. Directional signage and ample free parking are available.
