About the speaker: Michael Wynegar
Michael Wynegar is the Regional Sales Director and Vice President of Advertising for the PA properties of Gannett and LOCALiQ, a part of the USA Today Network.
He is a lifelong resident of York County, growing up in York City, and currently resides in the Red Lion area. He is a graduate of William Penn Senior High School where he attended the “Original” Performing Arts Institute. He is also a graduate of the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts Theatre Department. He served as president of the 99th Police Academy Class at Harrisburg Area Community College and spent time serving the local community with the York City Police Department. He is an avid sports fan and especially enjoys chatting about his cousin, York native Butch Wynegar, a Major League Baseball star.
Michael has 22 years of sales and marketing experience in the wireless, business, telecommunication and advertising industries. Since 1988, he is the proud owner of Mike Love Entertainment DJ Service. He is also the owner of Pharma-Free Remedies, a CBD and alternative health business in York's Central Market House.
Michael's community involvement includes memberships in the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce, Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce, Realtor’s Association of York & Adams County, and the Rotary Club of York, where he serves on several committees including the Educational Vocational Guidance committee. He serves on the Leadership York Executive Connections Committee and as an Ambassador for the York County Economic Alliance where he is also a member.
Michael attributes his success to this motto: “You will miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
