Annual Community Memorial Day Observance and Memorial Day Parade
The Allied Veterans Council of Hanover will again be coordinating, The Annual Memorial Day Parade and Memorial Day Observance to be held Monday, May 26, 2025 at 8:30 AM. During the services there will be three volleys of rifle fire by the Allied Veterans Council Honor Guard and a 7 round Cannon Salute by the 108th Field Artillery, Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, followed by Taps performed by a bugle player, there is no parking the entire parade route.

Location
It will start forming at 7:30 AM on Carlisle Street between Chestnut Street and Library Place. The Parade will move on Carlisle Street on a direct route to Mount Olivet Cemetery (725 Baltimore St, Hanover, PA 17331) approximately 1.4 Miles, 30 – 45 minutes, where services will be held at the platform near the soldier's monument.
