DESCRIPTION:Emory United Methodist Church will host two Traditional Worship Services the morning of June 30th\, 2013 at 9AM and 11AM\; both Services will feature great Methodist Hymns/Worship songs\, traditional liturgy and preaching\; plus a time of reflection and heartfelt thanksgiving. \n\n \n\n1860's Period clothing not required\, but if you desire   dress to suit.  Both "Union" and/or "Confederate" folk are most welcome and encouraged.  \n\n \n\nScott Mingus\, nationally known author\, historian\, re-enactor\, and scientist will attend both services!  Mr. Mingus will set the scene for "what it was like" in New Oxford during the 1860's.\n\n \n\nEmory United Methodist Church\, where history\, remembrance and thanksgiving all come together!!!  Look for the clock tower on the New Oxford square and listen for the steeple bell.
