TrueNorth Wellness Services is Excited to Participate in Give Local York
York, PA - TrueNorth Wellness Services is proud to announce its participation in Give Local York. Give Local York, returning to the York County area on April 30th and May 1st of 2026. Organized by the White Rose Leadership Institute, this 24-hour giving event helps nonprofits raise millions of dollars to serve their communities.
Give Local York brings the community together to support vital local needs. During the 24-hour window, every donation made can be amplified through bonus funds, prizes, and special challenges, making it the most impactful time of year to give.
“We are very excited to be part of Give Local York once again. This giving period allows us the opportunity to continue giving back to the communities we serve,” said CEO Steven Schedler. “With the community's support, TrueNorth Wellness can continue providing vital services across Pennsylvania. Your donations truly make a difference.”
For over 50 years, TrueNorth Wellness Services has provided behavioral health and wellness support, including counseling, residential services, autism support, emergency crisis services, education, and prevention. Their mission is to inspire hope and healthy living by providing services one person at a time, envisioning a community where everyone has a path to wellness. TrueNorth operates multiple locations, including Hanover, York, Gettysburg, McConnellsburg, Northern Dauphin, Shrewsbury, and Harrisburg, as well as the Amazing Kids’ Clubs in Red Lion and Hanover.
