Three Barley Snyder Partners Named to Legal 500 Philadelphia Elite Rankings List

Salvatore Anastasi named to Intellectual Property Elite List Anastasi is a patent attorney and serves as chair of Barley Snyder’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. He advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property, including domestic and international patent preparation and prosecution and intellectual property litigation. For more than three decades, Anastasi has worked with clients ranging from small family businesses to large, multi-national companies across various industries. He currently serves as President-Elect of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, one of the largest and most influential IP organizations in the world. Barley Snyder maintains a strong presence in Malvern, Pa., where its office serves as the base for the firm’s Intellectual Property practice and also offers a broad range of additional legal services to clients throughout the region.

Daniel Desmond named to the Corporate and M&A Elite List Desmond serves as chair of Barley Snyder’s Business Practice Group. As a seasoned business, finance and municipal attorney, Desmond is experienced in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), general business law, corporate governance and other types of business and finance transactions. His practice includes entity selection and formation, contract review and drafting, regulatory compliance matters, in addition to conventional, tax-exempt, venture capital and private equity lending transactions. His experience across those varied fields allows clients to deal directly with him on nearly every facet of a transaction.

Matthew Hennesy named to the Commercial Disputes Elite List Hennesy chairs Barley Snyder’s Litigation Practice Group where he focuses his practice on assisting clients with their commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation and construction litigation matters. He is an aggressive advocate who helps businesses, institutions and individuals effectively use the court system to achieve their strategic objectives and meet the challenges posed by complex litigation. In addition to helping his clients navigate and succeed in litigation, Hennesy also helps clients proactively identify and manage litigation risk.
