SEK Announces Mid-Year Supervisor Promotions

The Members of SEK, CPAs & Advisors are pleased to announce the following Supervisor promotions effective July 1, 2025:

 

Courtney King, MBA, promoted to Supervisor: Primarily working with nonprofit and governmental clients, Courtney is actively involved in all stages of audit engagements, assists with Form 990 preparation, and delivers Outsourced CFO services. She is an active member of the firm’s Audit Efficiency Task Force and Emerging Professionals Committee. Courtney earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, and a Master in Business Administration from Shippensburg University. Based in the York office, she joined SEK full-time in 2022 after an internship with the firm. Outside of work, Courtney enjoys traveling, shopping, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family.

 

 

Breanna Rorrer, promoted to Supervisor: Bre provides tax and compilation services to individual and business clients, handling multiple client engagements throughout the year. She also assists with new hire training as a Personal Transition Coach and is currently pursuing her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Bre is a member of the firm’s SEK University Tax Committee and Emerging Professionals Committee. She graduated summa cum laude from Mount St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Forensic Accounting. Bre joined SEK full-time in 2021 after an internship with the firm and works in the Hanover and York offices. Outside of work, Bre enjoys golfing, sprint car racing, supporting local businesses and restaurants with friends and family, and spending time with her husband and two kitties.

 

Ian Shook, MBA promoted to Supervisor: Ian delivers audit services for governmental clients, including municipalities, school districts, and conservation districts. He works on audit engagements from start to finish, from the planning phase to financial statement preparation. He is also a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee. Ian earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master in Business Administration from Shippensburg University. Based in the Chambersburg office, he joined SEK full-time in 2022 after an internship with the firm. Outside of work, Ian enjoys watching soccer and football and riding his bike.
