Katherine Betz Kravitz Named to Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development Board of Directors

Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that partner Katherine Betz Kravitz has been elected to the Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development’s Board of Directors.

 

The Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development is a nonprofit organization offering innovative therapy, education and resources to children and young adults with disabilities, developmental delays and acquired injuries. For nearly a century, Schreiber has been a trusted resource for families across the nation, providing high-quality care tailored to each child’s unique needs. In addition to traditional therapy and educational services, Schreiber offers a diverse array of inclusive programs including aquatic therapy, summer camps, parent and family support nights, and social groups.

 

“I’m honored to join the Board of Directors of the Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development,” said Kravitz. “Schreiber’s commitment to empowering children of all abilities through individualized care is truly inspiring. I look forward to supporting their mission and helping expand the impact of their life-changing programs in our community and beyond.”

 

Kravitz is a partner in Barley Snyder’s Health Care Industry Group and Litigation Practice Group. For more than 30 years, she has been a trusted counselor and problem-solver for health care providers throughout central Pennsylvania, regularly representing clients in significant malpractice litigation and before the licensure boards. Her diverse experience gives her a unique perspective and deep understanding of the complex challenges facing health care providers today.

 

Outside of the firm, Kravitz volunteers her time and legal insight with various organizations, deepening her commitment to community enrichment. She currently serves as a member of the Touchstone Foundation’s Access Committee, the Lancaster General Health Foundation’s Women’s Giving Circle and its Wine Heart Gala Planning Committee, and United Way Women United. In addition, she is the Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Health Law Committee.
