Downtown Hanover Celebrates August 2nd Saturday with Jaws Screenings at the Eichelberger
Hanover, PA — Main Street Hanover invites the community to make a day of it in Downtown Hanover on Saturday, August 8, 2026, for the monthly 2nd Saturday celebration, featuring special screenings of the iconic summer blockbuster Jaws (1975) at the Eichelberger Performing Arts Center, the kickoff of Hanover Restaurant Week, and a full lineup of shopping, family activities, and special promotions throughout downtown.

- 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- Cultivated Essentials Co. will offer 10% off during their BYOB DIY Candle Studio experience, with no reservation required. Guests can also participate in a special Crystal Intention Candle pop-up in partnership with Moonflower Crystal Bar.
- Dawg Gone Bees will celebrate the opening of their new Skep Coffee Bar, featuring coffee sweetened exclusively with local raw honey harvested from their own hives.
- The Hanover Area Artists Guild will host children’s story time and crafts with local authors and illustrators from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
- Fat Bat Brewing Company will feature a local artisan vendor pop-up inside their fermenting room from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
- Little Fox Coffee & Books welcomes families for story time with Miss Kelly from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM.
- The Hanover Market House will host a Back-to-School event featuring free haircuts, face painting, backpacks, and school supplies for local families.
- The Serpent’s Key will offer its popular Pay-What-You-Can Tea Bar with Herbs & Sympathy from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, along with a community Plants & Produce Swap where neighbors can exchange fresh produce, herbs, plants, eggs, and more.
