Dolphin & Anchor Brew Pub Debuts New Kitchen and Menu at Aldus Brewing Company

Hanover, PA — There’s something new cooking in downtown Hanover. Dolphin & Anchor Brew Pub, the kitchen at Aldus Brewing Company, is officially open, bringing a brand-new menu of bites designed to pair perfectly with Aldus’ lineup of craft beers.

Located at 13 Center Square in the heart of downtown Hanover, Dolphin & Anchor is inviting the community to come hungry, grab a pint, and experience its new food offerings.
The new kitchen menu offers something for everyone, from casual bites perfect for sharing to hearty options designed to make a full meal out of your visit. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite, meeting friends for drinks, or looking for somewhere to enjoy dinner downtown, Dolphin & Anchor is ready to serve up something new.
The Main Street Hanover team recently stopped by Dolphin & Anchor to sample some of the new offerings and capture fresh photos of the menu, and we can officially confirm: the food is delicious.
The new menu brings together classic pub favorites and Aldus-inspired twists, making it easy to find something whether you’re looking for a snack, a full meal, or something to share. Guests can dig into smoked beef nachos topped with 1840 Original Lager beer cheese and pickled jalapeños, soft pretzels served with beer cheese made with 1840 Original Lager and Jason Hates It! IPA, house-made hummus with warm naan, chicken and buffalo tenders, Mozzaluna with house-made marinara, or a generous order of fries for the table. For something heartier, the menu features Italian cold cuts, salads, an Aldus Special Dog, and made-to-order ribeye and chicken cheesesteaks with a variety of cheeses and toppings. Families can also find kid-friendly favorites including French bread pizza, Roseda hot dogs, and a chicken tender basket. With beer incorporated into several menu items, including the signature 1840 Original Lager beer cheese, the new kitchen gives guests plenty of opportunities to pair their favorite Aldus brew with a fresh bite.
“We were excited to get a first taste of what Dolphin & Anchor is bringing to downtown,” said Moriah Tyler, Executive Director of Main Street Hanover. “The menu has a great mix of familiar favorites and Aldus-inspired creations, and everything we sampled was delicious. Adding a kitchen gives people another reason to spend time downtown, gather with friends, and enjoy a great meal alongside a fresh pint.”
