Dawg Gone Bees Hosts Earth Day ''Buy-Back'' Event – Buzzing for a Better World!ews Release: 3/31/2025

Dawg Gone Bees is excited to announce its upcoming "Buy-Back" Event in celebration of Earth Day! Join us on Saturday, April 26th at our Hanover and Gettysburg locations for a day of eco-friendly fun and a chance to win a sweet prize.

While we are not open on Earth Day, we’re encouraging our community to come together on April 26th to help reduce waste by returning clean honey and fruit spread jars. For every jar returned, participants will receive an entry into a drawing for a Dawg Gone Bees Gift Basket packed with our finest honey products, mead, and more!

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025 Location: 7 Center Square, Hanover, PA 17331
Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

How It Works:
1. Bring your clean Dawg Gone Bees honey or fruit spread jars to either location.
2. Receive $0.50 back for each clean jar returned ($2.00 for 5 lb jars).
3. For every jar you return, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a gift basket full of honey, mead, and other bee-themed goodies!

“We’re thrilled to host this event as a way to give back to our community and the environment,” said Hal Mack, Beekeeper at Dawg Gone Bees. “Recycling our jars helps reduce waste and supports a more sustainable future for our bees and our planet.”

Celebrate Earth Day with us, support local beekeeping, and enjoy the sweet rewards of sustainability. Let’s work together to create a buzzing better world—one jar at a time!
