BOROUGH OF HANOVER ANNOUNCES NEW BILL PAY PORTAL
Hanover, Pa. – The Borough of Hanover has announced an update to its online utility bill pay portal. The new system offers customers the option of setting up auto pay. In addition, credit card and bank payments will not be charged a user fee at this time. Bills will continue to be posted on a quarterly basis.
Customers are encouraged to note the following changes:
- Utility account numbers now begin with a zero (0).
- Customers in the Borough can now manage both garbage and water/sewer bills under one email account.
- Customers with more than one property can manage multiple utility bills under one email account.
The new bill pay portal is available at https://hanoverboroughpa.merchanttransact.com/Login.
To create an email account, customers should click "Sign Up” which will prompt them to enter an email and create a password. Once on the portal, customers will need to enter the billing account number and the house/property number.
The former bill pay portal will say live through the end of the year for bills originally generated prior to October 15. That portal is available at https://secure.emybill.com/.../Han.../publicSite/entry.faces.
