Barley Snyder Partner Eden Bucher Named President of the Animal Rescue League of Berks County Board
Reading, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that partner Eden R. Bucher has been appointed President of the Board of Directors for the Animal Rescue League of Berks County (ARL), continuing her longstanding commitment to the organization and its mission.
Bucher has served on the ARL’s Board of Directors for many years, supporting the organization’s efforts to protect animals, provide a safe haven, and promote programs and services that benefit both animals and the community.
As President, Bucher will help guide the ARL’s strategic direction and governance as it continues to serve Berks County and surrounding communities. The organization is one of the region’s leading animal welfare nonprofits, providing adoption services, veterinary care, community outreach, and education initiatives to support pet owners and improve animal welfare outcomes.
At Barley Snyder, Bucher is a partner in the firm’s Finance & Creditors’ Rights and Business practice groups. She concentrates her practice in commercial transactions, debtor/creditor law and litigation, and works closely with financial institutions, lenders and businesses on a range of complex legal matters. Her multidisciplinary experience and problem-solving approach bring a practical perspective to her leadership roles in both the legal and nonprofit communities.
“I’m honored to step into this role and continue working alongside such a dedicated team,” Bucher said. “As someone who has always had a deep love for animals, the mission of the Animal Rescue League is especially meaningful to me. I’m proud to support an organization that makes such a tangible difference in the lives of animals and the people who care for them, and I look forward to helping advance that work in the years ahead.”
