Barley Snyder Managing Partner Jennifer Craighead Carey Named Chair of Lancaster City Alliance Board
Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that Managing Partner Jennifer Craighead Carey has been named Chair of the Lancaster City Alliance (LCA) Board of Directors.
The Lancaster City Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring Lancaster is a clean, safe and vibrant city for all. The organization cultivates partnerships among businesses, local communities, arts organizations, educational institutions, nonprofits and government entities to strengthen Lancaster City's economic vitality and quality of life.
Craighead Carey has served on the LCA Board of Directors and most recently as Vice Chair. As Chair, she will help guide the organization's efforts to foster a welcoming and thriving Lancaster. Her appointment reflects a longstanding commitment to community leadership and economic development throughout Lancaster County.
"As someone who has spent both my personal and professional life invested in Lancaster, I am honored to serve as Chair of the Lancaster City Alliance," said Craighead Carey. Craighead Carey serves as Managing Partner and CEO of Barley Snyder, where she oversees the firm's strategic direction and growth while continuing her legal practice as a member of the firm's Employment Practice Group. She has spent more than three decades advising employers on workplace issues, litigation and risk management.
In addition to her leadership at Barley Snyder and the Lancaster City Alliance, Craighead Carey is actively involved in a variety of professional and community organizations throughout the region. Her contributions to the legal profession and the broader community have earned her numerous distinctions, including recognition by Central Penn Business Journal, City & State Pennsylvania, and other organizations that have honored her leadership and impact.
