Barley Snyder Attorney John “J.” Quain Named to Spanish American Civic Association Development Corporation Board
Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney John “J.” Quain has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Spanish American Civic Association Development Corporation.
The Spanish American Civic Association (SACA) is a nonprofit organization created in 1973 to address the needs of the growing Latino community in Lancaster County. For more than 50 years, SACA has worked to uplift and restore marginalized communities through various programs and services including workforce training, mental health and addiction support, senior programs, affordable housing and community outreach. One of SACA’s key divisions, Tec Centro, serves as Lancaster’s leading provider of bilingual education and workforce training, reaching over 1,200 individuals annually.
“It is an honor to be appointed to the Spanish American Civic Association Development Corporation’s Board of Directors and help continue its powerful legacy,” said Quain. “I am deeply committed to advancing SACA’s mission of uplifting and empowering our community by driving meaningful change."
Quain is a member of Barley Snyder’s Litigation Practice Group, focusing on litigation, appellate matters and regulatory compliance. He is also a member of the firm’s Finance & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group, where he handles bankruptcy and debt collection. In addition to his new role with SACA, Quain serves as board secretary and legal counsel for the Historic Harrisburg Association and as a board member and Young Lawyers Section Chair for the Dauphin County Bar Association.
