Barley Snyder Attorney John “J.” Quain Elected to Dauphin County Bar Association Board of Directors
Lancaster, Pa. – Barley Snyder is pleased to announce that attorney John “J.” Quain has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Dauphin County Bar Association.
The Dauphin County Bar Association (DCBA) is a longstanding professional organization dedicated to supporting the legal community and its more than 1,500 members. Through continuing legal education, networking opportunities and community outreach initiatives, the DCBA promotes service and excellence within the legal profession and the broader community. Quain has an established history with the DCBA, having previously served on the board of directors through his leadership as Chair of the Young Lawyers Section (YLS).
“I am thrilled to continue my work with the DCBA as a member of the organization’s Board of Directors,” said Quain. “The Association plays an important role in strengthening our legal community, and I am honored to contribute in this leadership capacity. I remain committed to supporting the continued success of the DCBA and its members.”
Quain is a member of Barley Snyder’s Litigation Practice Group, focusing on litigation, appellate matters and regulatory compliance. Active in his community, Quain serves as a board member of the Spanish American Civic Association and board secretary and legal counsel for the Historic Harrisburg Association. In 2025, Quain was named to the Central Penn Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 list and was honored as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star, recognizing his professional achievements and community impact in the region.
